How to Backup Mac to iCloud
Step 1. Go to system preferences. Look for iCloud
Step 2. Click on iCloud. A new window will open.
Step 3. If a first time user then the pop-up window will come to make iCloud account.
Step 4. Once the email id is formed check on the apps for which you want to have a backup on iCloud. In this way, you can transfer backup files on Mac to iCloud.
Step 5. Another way to backup your mac files to iCloud is through dragging the file to the iCloud drive folder. Open iCloud Drive through spotlight search.
Step 6. To do a backup on the iCloud, make a copy of the file and then drag it to the iCloud Drive.
Step 7. Now to go the apple logo on the menu bar. Click on the logo and then click on “About this Mac”
Step 8. A pop-up window will open. Click on storage.
Step 9. Now click on Manage. A new window will open. Then click on “Store in Cloud”
Step 10. As soon as the “ store in Cloud” is clicked, then another window will open. You can choose which are the things you want to store. Again click on “ store in Cloud” and then the process will start.
