How to Change IP Address on Android
Follow these given steps to change IP address in android:
Step 1: Start by going to Settings of your Android device.
Step2: Click on the Wi-Fi option. Check the image below:
Step 3: From there choose the Wi-fi network title for which you want to change the setting IP address on android. Kindly note you have to long press the network title for getting the next set of options.
Step 4: On long pressing the network, it will open for you a new dialogue box. As shown in the image below:
Step 5: Tap on the Modify network option from there.
Step 6: Then check the Show advanced options from the list which will open further options for you. As shown in the image below:
Step 7: Go to IPv4 settings option and tap on the DHCP option which will extend the dialogue box for you.
Step 8: Now, select the Static option from that new dialogue box. As shown in the image below:
Step 9: Also, you will see that it has opened some more list of options beneath it.
Step10: So, now underneath the “IPv4 Address bar, you simply type the new custom IP address as required by you.
Step 11. When the IP address change in Android device is entered, just tap on the Save button at the bottom.
Step 12. That’s it the IP address for your Android phone has changed successfully!
