How to Chat on Google Docs

How to Use Google Docs Chat

Step 1. First steps, you need to open your Google Docs, Google Spreadsheet, and Google Presentation to chat on Google Docs.

Step 2. You will get this Google document through your mail, or you can originate as per work.

Step 3. After that, your Google docs will open in your browser. Then, move your cursor towards the Top-right of the Google Document.

Step 4. You’ll see the other members who’re online on the Google Docs.

Step 5. After that, you need to hit on the “Chat” icon showing on the top of the online member list.

Step 6. This mark only appears when someone is available on the Google Sheet. Then you open the Google docs chatbox, and after finishing it, you can close by hitting on the top right side of the chatbox.

Step 7. You may also start chatting on Google docs through the comment section.

Step 8. For this, you need to select the Comment icon showing on the top-right side of the Google Docs.

Step 9. Now, you can start a chat on Google Docs. When someone is replying it will be displayed in the right panel of the Google Docs Page.

Step 10. As similar to Google Chat Box, everyone on the Google Docs will see the conversation. This is how you can start Chat On Google Docs.
