There are four different Methods through which we can hide Images and Videos in Android Device.
Method 1: Hide Images and Videos by Changing the extension
Step 1: Open your File Explorer or any other file manager and find the image or video you want to hide.
Step 2: Then long tap that file and click on rename.
Step 3: Then change the extension of that file like “.anything”.
Step 4: Then it’s done.
Note: This method only works if the number of files is very less
Method 2: Hide Images & Videos Folder from the Gallery app
Step 1: Open your Galley in your phone.
Step 2: Then locate the folder which you want to hide.
Step 3: Then tap the three dots and select settings from it.
Step 4: Here, you select hide/unhide album option and select the folder you want to hide.
Step 5: Then click apply and the folder will be hidden.
Step 6: If you want to unhide it, repeat the same process.
Note: You can make a separate folder of all the images you want to hide and then hide it using the above method.
Method 3: Hide images from appearing in Gallery
Step 1: Open ES File Explorer in your ph1. If you have not installed it, install it from Google Play Store or you can use any other file manager also.
Step 2: Create a new folder by clicking the three dots and select “New”.
Step 3: Then select the folder and name it anything
Step 4: Then create a text file and name it “.nomedia”.
Step 5: Now move all images and videos which you want to hide in that folder.
Step 6: You can now check Gallery or other video playing app to find those files.
Method 4: Hide Images and Videos Using Third-Party App: Vaulty
Step 1: Open Vaulty app and set up your account.
Step 2: Create a password according to your need.
Step 3: Then click on “Hide Pictures & Pictures”.
Step 4: Select your Gmail account and then select the file you want to hide.
Step 5: Then click on “lock” which is located on the upper right hand side corner.
Step 6: The file is hidden and can be view only in the Vaulty app using the password.
